So, we’ve all gone through something where we feel like we’ve done our best and the results aren’t what we prayed and hoped for; that initial shock hurts. However, once that is gone, you feel a relief and you get yourself together and prepare to move forward. You gather your thoughts and you clear your mind, you go back and ask God for guidance. This is the same thing that we should do in regards to the Presidential election.
There are many people who are not satisfied with the election and obviously people who are satisfied. Regardless of if you agree with the election results or not we must keep in mind that God created us, He created this world, He has the final say, He is ruler over everything. With that being said, everything is in God’s hands our trust needs to be in God and not in man. We must realize that all things work together for the good for those who love God who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We also must remember that as children of God He favors us so regardless of what changes are being made within the US, if God has other plans for you or has better for you then that’s what you will receive.
Let’s take affordable Healthcare as an example. If Healthcare goes up to a ridiculous amount of money to the point where it seems in the natural it’s no way that you will be able to afford it you need to do these 4 things:
- Trust that God favors you and He will make provisions
- Mix that faith with prayer
- Do not waiver
- Ensure that you are aligned with the word of God
Of course this isn’t an all-inclusive list but you catch my drift….He is going to make provisions and provide for you. That Healthcare you thought you couldn’t afford He will make a way for you to obtain what you need.
Trust God, Trust God, Trust God….
Now, just like I mentioned before, I can understand the initial shock but remember not to dwell on things, just know that God has a plan.
Lastly, please do not allow the enemy to get you sidetrack and off course. Stay focused and keep your eyes on Jesus.
